A quick and easy summer punch combining fresh watermelon juice, lemonade, lemon sherbet, and sparkling water for a refreshing and crowd-pleasing drink perfect for any summer party.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups fresh watermelon, cubed and seeded
  • 4 cups chilled lemonade (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 pint lemon sherbet
  • 2 cups chilled sparkling water (plain or lemon-flavored)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Small handful of fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions

  1. Puree the cubed watermelon in a blender until smooth, yielding about 3 cups of watermelon juice. Strain if a pulp-free punch is desired.
  2. Rinse and dry the blender jug, then blend lemon sherbet with 1 cup of lemonade on low until smooth and creamy.
  3. In a large punch bowl or pitcher, gently stir together the watermelon juice, blended lemon sherbet mixture, remaining lemonade, and fresh lemon juice.
  4. Just before serving, add chilled sparkling water and ice cubes to the punch.
  5. Garnish with fresh mint leaves, ladle into glasses, and serve immediately.

Notes

For best results, chill all ingredients beforehand and add sparkling water and ice just before serving to preserve fizz and prevent dilution. Blend sherbet with lemonade first to avoid clumps. For a dairy-free version, substitute lemon sherbet with lemon sorbet. Adjust sweetness with honey or agave syrup if needed.
